There’s something about being a photographer that captures me, even as I capture the moment.
More than just a few frames frozen in time, these images stay with me, locked in my own living memory, long after an event is over.
Since receiving my first camera as a 10 year old, I have looked twice at the world, once with my eyes, and once again with my mind eye… I ask myself, “If that image were frozen in time what would…”
If I had a photography preference then it would be for reunions. I love capturing the moment old friends reunite, looking hard into each others face, as if willing the years lost to fall away.
