What a ripper of a game! I tried to focus a bit more on the Northland team but I think this forced me to take photos out of necessity rather than out of instinct so I am not as happy with the quality of my shots as usual… anyway here they are!
Gutted by the loss to North Harbour in the last seconds… I walked away with my head bowed and the collar of my jacket up around my ears to keep the cold out! Not a lot of shots because of the low light and lateness of the game…
Hopefully the next one, being earlier in the day, will give me more of an opportunity weather permitting of course!
An enjoyable season…. not sure what I’m going to do now… anyone got any ideas? Anyway big ups to the team for keeping going to the very end! Here are the photos from Friday nights game…

Awesome fine day for photos and enough wind to blow away anyones cobwebs… even Wellington’s half-time hideout! I hoped it was prophetic but sadly no…. anyway hope you enjoy the the photos. (BTW – leave me a comment to let me know what you think!)
Buckets of rain and my camera wrapped in glad wrap to keep the water out…. What more can I say except that theses photos are a bit overdone to compensate for the low light and the fact that I had to push the post processing to get them to look anything remotely like this was really a daylight event – in fact the photos of the last game under lights came out better!!!
Here they are… not the best as light was low and it drizzled for much of the second half but I still managed to get some pleasing shots… I am sure looking forward to the day games. Anyway – enjoy!
